Meet Banjo the pup! These are just a few quick images I took of Banjo on the 4th of July. He is 14 weeks old. My friends Hollye and Parker just rescued him last week and he is the sweetest little guy! He is a great addition to their family.

MIA'S BIRTHDAY

I've been so busy that I am behind in my postings. Here are some images from my best friend Mia's birthday lunch, which was this past May. Better late than never right? ;o) It was such a wonderful time and great to see everyone.

TOOTIE - PART 1

Here is a blast from the past. Images from a 1996 photo session with the fabulous Tootie! These images are from part one of a four part series of images. One of the images was used for promotional materials to help promote my solo exhibit "Up Against the Wall", which was held at the Ratner Art Center in downtown San Diego. Tootie even performed live on stage at the opening. Good times!

THE WEDDING CAKE BOOK

The Wedding Cake Book by Mary Anne Pirro will be in bookstores this year. There will be two books total, with one of the books being published in 2011, the other in 2012. I am so excited to get my hands on one!

I am thrilled to say that one of these images and possibly some of the others will be featured in the book. All of the wedding cakes were created by CAKE. CAKE is a boutique style bakery and they are located in San Diego, CA. I would highly recommend them for your special occasion or wedding.

THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving was a wonderful time this year. I got to spend it with my dear friend Mia and her family, as well as with friends visiting from Colorado, including the little peanut! The holiday dinner was fantastic. Not only did it consist of the traditional turkey ... but there were fabulous vegetarian dishes as well as old family recipes from Italy. We drank delightful red wine that was produced from local wineries of the Temecula Valley. A good time was had by all!
