A while back, I met Mary at an event I was photographing. I liked her instantly. We talked about the beautiful Eastern Sierras and about my 5 year fine art project of the Hawaiian Islands. So it was wonderful to get a call one day out of the blue from her husband to photograph her 60th Birthday Event.
